Angie Hurley’s bold moves….

Having built her knowledge and experience across the country, Angie returned home in 2019 with the aim of helping Newfoundland and Labrador make bold moves.

  • Bachelor of Kinesiology(Co-op) from Memorial University

  • Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy from Camosun College

  • CATA Certified Athletic Therapist

  • NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

  • Red Cross First Responder

  • NCCP Weightlifting Level 1 - trained status

Philosophy

Angie’s treatment philosophy is treat the symptoms, then solve the puzzle. She wants to help you feel better but also, find the cause and the source so that she can educate and equip you to keep the issues away. Treatment is a collaboration between Athletic Therapist and yourself, requiring participation and willingness to learn and grow.

Angie takes this approach with a strong manual, exercise based practice, and education. She prefers active modalities versus passive modalities. While Angie The AT has experience with a wide variety of populations, her preferred populations include athletes, from high performance to recreational, and aging adults.
